VHS to digital... ugh!

Hi folks! Yesterday I learned how to shift VHS videos over to a digital format that can be embedded in BlackBoard. Yahoo! But in doing so, I also learned that it's a total pain in the you-know-where. Then today we experienced a major technological roadblock: iMovie isn't recognizing the VHS tapes on the one tape deck station that's still alive after last Thursday's power outage and subsequent surge. We're hoping that Steve Glassman can fix it tomorrow morning. In the meantime, I continue to set up VHS tapes for later digital transfer and snag stuff from iTunes.
