Getting Started with Mathematica

Spent most of the day helping colleagues with DyKnow and Mathematica. It has been several years since I last wrote programs for Mathematica. Found out how rusty I was but muddled through. Was able to review several Mathematica applets from the Demonstrations Project. Several can be modified as templates to accommodate a variety of topics for algebra 2. Will spend tomorrow modifying the code for these. Was disappointed to discover Choate had not purchased Web Mathematica, the package that would facilitate storing Mathematica applets in the HTML format. This is necessary so that I can embed the applets into my DyKnow notes. Hopefully this will be resolved tomorrow.
